DEPOSIT (WBNG) -- Authorities say one man has been charged with five felonies following his arrest on Feb. 3.
The Broome County Sheriff's Office says 31-year-old Robert Kinzer of Deposit was arrested and charged with the following felonies:
- Robbery in the 1st degree, a class B felony
- Burglary in the 1st degree, a class B felony
- Criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree, a class D felony
- Aggravated family offense, a class E felony
The sheriff's office says Kinzer had a warrant out for his arrest following a "domestic incident" on Jan. 1. They say he fled before authorities arrived to the scene.
Kinzer was seen again in the village of Deposit on Jan. 8 but fled the area on foot as officers approached him.
On Feb. 3, the sheriff's office says it received a tip about Kinzer's whereabouts. He was later arrested without incident.
Kinzer was also charged with the following misdemeanors:
- Criminal mischief in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor
- Unlawful imprisonment in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor
- Menacing in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor
- Criminal obstruction breathing, a class A misdemeanor
- Resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor
- Obstructing government administration in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor
Kinzer was taken to the Broome County Sheriff's Correctional Facility. He was released on his own recognizance, they say.
